Germany, I Will Never Forget You (July 10, 2017)

Air Force One! #seeyousoonAmerica

Dear Friends and Family,

I didn't know 18 months could go so fast. But now the time has come for me to write my final weekly email. I won't say too much but there are a few things I wish to say before signing off for the last time.

I have loved my mission. Truly I have! It has shaped me into a better person. I see the world differently, I see people differently. We are all Gods children and each person on this earth has so much worth! Heavenly Father has taught me how to see others as He does.
He has taught me the importance of caring for those around me. No matter what my circumstance is or theirs... you will never regret giving a helping hand, being a shoulder to cry on, giving a compliment, telling someone you care. He has also taught me not to take our friends or family for granted. They are here to help us, to love us, to comfort us, and to teach us.
Throughout my mission my testimony of certain things have grown. One of those being Joseph Smith. I know without a doubt Joseph Smith a prophet of God! And i know that He saw God the Father and Jesus Christ that beautiful spring day. And that through revelation and heavenly visitation received the power and authority to restore Christs church to the earth! I know he is a prophet. I am so grateful for all that he did so that this church, Christs true church, could be restored to the earth.

I wish I could accurately put into words how much my mission means to me. But it's difficult to explain! I have never been so grateful for such and opportunity! I have met incredible people with so many different backgrounds and faiths. I have been able to speak with so many people who have such strong testimonies of our Lord and Savior and who have sacrificed so much to follow Jesus Christ and to stand as witnesses of Him. I have also made many life long friends whom I love dearly and will never forget.

It has been a special 18 months filled with memories and experiences I will never forget. I thank you all for your support the past year and a half. The letters, the packages, the kind emails you have all sent me.

I can't wait to see you all this weekend! Till then America!

P.s. We saw Air Force One take off... ;)

P.p.s. A very special thank you to the Metzig Family (from my first area Hannover) who came to visit me my very last Sunday! They made us lunch and spent the day with us! It was wonderful! Thank you Metzigs! Love you guys!

Apparently the only people to get the memo that we were taking a
picture were the Elders...

The Metzigs!! ❤️

I am very upset about this!
