Hello World! (July 25, 2016)
How goes everything!?
Hohenstein is pretty normal this week!! Lots of old people walking
around at 6:30 in the morning... The usual! ;) haha!!
We had three lessons with the Familie Tobal! They all went really
well!! And they came to church on Sunday!!! It was pretty
interesting... The kids loved it!!! The parents speak Arabic... So it
was hard for them to understand everything! But we translated with our
iPads and they got the main idea and really liked it. At one point the
mother of the family turned to me during Sunday school and said, "Ich
verstehe!" That was really cool to see.
We skyped with the Elders in our mission who have learned Arabic last
night!! They taught them the first lesson in Arabic!! It was really
cool!! And the father told our elders that they love Jesus Christ and
they know He loves them. That was so great!! This family truly knows
and loves Jesus Christ. And they know that He has helped them get here
to Germany. They had a long and difficult journey. They get on a boat
from Syria... Their boat sank because too many people were on the
boat. The family swimming for dear life until finally after a night of
being trapped in the ocean... They were rescued. And they know that it
was God that helped them. Such an amazing family!
This week... Either God is showering us with Heavenly Blessings... Or
He decided to flood the earth again. Let me put it this way... I spent
most of my week... Soaking wet haha!! I will send pictures of our
straße ausstellung next week!! It poured. I also walked for two hours
in the pouring rain to go by on a contact for the a Elders in
Anaberg... And then two hours back haha!! This week was eventful
haha!! So many stories that honestly will just have to wait until I
can tell them in person... ;) haha!!
