Leipzig!

Goodbye Hohenstein! (Dramatic hipster picture... Hendricks would be proud!)

Wow! What a week!

Well, we left the great old land of Hohenstein-Ernstthal on Wednesday.
It was a bitter sweet departure... But new adventures were yet to come
in the land of Leipzig!
We made it to Leipzig on Wednesday and immediately had to go to a
baptismal interview for one of our investigators they handed over to
us... Sister Swapp and I did absolutely nothing to get her to baptism!
But it was cool to see her baptized on Thursday! And it was cool to
set everything up for the baptism and be apart of it in that way. :)

Friday was once again a normal day in the life of a missionary! We
went finding for a few hours, we also had district meeting that day,
and then that evening we had... Sport! We all got together and played
Hockey! I had never played hockey before... But it felt great to play
like an actual sport again! Haven't really done that since Hannover!
It was nice! ;)

Saturday, we went finding again for a few hours and we were able to
find a family, and a German dude! We are unsure at this point if we
are able to teach the family... But the German Dude we are really
excited for! His name is Andreas, he looks like he's in his 20's, and
the only thing he has ever heard about the Mormons was in the TV show
South Park! Hahaha! So when he found out we were Mormon he looked at
both of us for a second and then went, "Cool!" Haha! We gave him a
Book of Mormon, a restoration pamphlet, and taught half of the first
lesson on his front door step! We were pretty happy after that
experience! ;) We are going back next week to finish the first lesson.

Saturday night watched the Saturday morning session of conference! It
was sooooo good! My favorite talk was Uchtdorfs! ;) It was so great
watching conference! We had a group of missionaries there to watch it
with us! There were ten of us sitting in the family history room
watching it in English! It was glorious! And of course we were all
prepared with food! ;) After all of this I asked Elder Drazin what
time we needed to be there for conference the next morning... He told
me, "Everything starts at 11!"
So... Sunday rolled around and we showed up at 11! Like he said! Turns
out that by, "everything starts at 11" he included the priesthood
session!!! Great Scott... So we stayed and watched the priesthood
session with all the elders haha! It was good! :)

Once priesthood session ended we had a two hour break before we were
to watch the Saturday evening session!! So the missionaries hung out
at the church together, some members made us lunch because none of us
had food to bring... And it was Sunday so we couldn't get food...
Haha! And then finally the Saturday evening session began! Oh boy that
was a great session too! Then once that was over... Two hours later we
watched the Sunday morning session! :) so now the only session I
haven't seen is the Sunday evening session! But we will watch that
with the ward next Sunday! :) Oh how I love conference!!

Today for Pday we walked around Leipzig! Today happens to be a
holiday... So EVERYTHING in Leipzig is closed... It was unfortunate!
;) Aber NaJa... so ist es! ;) It has been a good week filled with
adventure! I'm excited to se
 what happens this week! ;)
Love y'all!

Lieben Grüße,
