Happy 2nd Advent!

Hello Friends and Family!

This week has been an adventure!

Last Monday evening I had to hop on a train to Halle for Tausch with
my STL's! I was there with Sister Baldwin (she is from my MTC group!)
but I have to tell you the best part of it all.
Tuesday Sister Baldwin and I left for the Soup kitchen for service.
(It is a catholic or evangelisch soup kitchen I do believe.) and we
worked with a Nun. Yes! A Nun. And it was wonderful! She was a very
sassy Nun haha! She kept smacking me in the stomach and telling me
what to do haha! But the best... she was explaining that every day at
13:00 the nuns go out to the courtyard to release balloons! One for
every baby who was born the previous day in the hospital next door!
She she asked if I wanted to go do and do it with the Nuns!! I said,
"Heavens Yes!" And went out to the courtyard... there were like 8 nuns
out there holding five balloons! One of the really old Nuns shuffled
up to me and said, "You can have my balloon!" And then she continued,
"One time... we had nine balloons!" Haha it was so sweet! Well then...
at 13:00 exactly the church bells ring and the Nuns flipped out and
yelled, "Let them go!!!" We all stood there waving to the balloons as
they flew away... it was glorious. Just picture Sister Brooke Darton
standing in a courtyard with many Nuns all waving at balloons flying
into the distance... and the whole time the song, "How do you solve a
problem like Maria?" Was stuck in my head hahaha! Life dream come
true.

Well, that was actually the best story of this week haha! I'm sorry I
don't have much more this week folks. Crazy news is... Transfed calls
are this Saturday! I will keep you updated! We'll see what happens to
me... ;)
