Happy New Year!! (December 26, 2016)

So since I emailed you last Wednesday I don't really have much to say! Haha sorry...


Thursday was a day of finding! We did invite an investigator to baptism though! We made out a date as a goal to work towards but she was still a little hesitant... so we were like "keine sorgen!" We will just have this date as a goal to work towards and we are here to help you reach it! So she accepted the idea of it! We will make it fest next week when we meet with her.

That night after a very long day of finding haha! We decided to oder pizza! Now... we live in an apartment building little five minutes (walking) down the road from a pizza place! So we call in tell them our address and they ask me for the name on the klingle... on our klingle it says, "Sisters - Kirche Jesu Christi!" So I kept telling the man that the klingle said, "Kirche Jesu Christi!" And we spent the next 10 minutes... no joke... 10 MINUTES discussing the name on the klingle!!!


Pizza guy: Uhhh... what was the name?


Me: there is no name... it just says the church of Jesus Christ!


Pizza guy: oh... so it's a church...?


Me: No! We are in an apartment building! But the name on the klingle is church of Jesus Christ!


Pizza guy: listen! All I asked for is the last name on the klingle!


Me: that is the name on the klingle!!!


Pizza guy: WHAT? What was it then!?!


Me: Kirche Jesu Christi!!!!!


Eventually he and I both gave up and resolved the situation... an hour and a half later... we got our pizza... ;)


Saturday! We had a Skype call with all of the Sisters we are in charge of! It was so much fun! We sang a Christmas song, had a testimony meeting, Sister Baldwin and I shared a spiritual thought, and then we challenged each companionship to take a nativity picture as a companionship using things they find in their apartment! ;) They all thought it was a funny idea! I'm excited to see their pictures and what they come up with!


Heilige Abend we were at a Members house and we got to watch Big Hero Six with the family! It was awesome!!! :) It was so wonderful!!


Christmas was also so great!! We had church and an eating appointment and then we got to Skype home!! It was so awesome to see my family again!! So wonderful!!
